Just a quick message to offer my sympathies for Thursday night.
Myself and Sazz arrived back from holiday at Manchester airport at 4.30 to set off straight away up the M62 to Blakey.
I suppose the atrocious weather we encountered even before we hit Leeds should have warned us of what lay ahead. But we persevered nontheless. We eventually reached Blakey at 9.00pm, and knew straight away the gig was off due to the weather.
After eventually getting into the pub, we said a quick hello to Patrick, Maria and David and we then left, arriving home at 12.30
I cant believe some people are complaining!!
I didn't realise you had the power to control the elements!
I dont even feel that you have any need whatsover to apologise.
And we are certainly not expecting a refund from you.
I realise that Thursday may well have been a financial disaster, but please dont lose faith, true MA/Blakey fans will be back year after year to support the cause.
