I'm getting a bit hacked off at all this "MA fans are so holier than
thou they wouldn't hurt a fly bollocks".I've read numerous posts since
the Festival alluding to this.
So no Mostly Autumn fan left a tab end, beer can, carrier bag, sweet
wrapper etc on the site?
So which bands fans caused all the bother then? Four day Hombres? The
Yards? Gina Dootsons,Nathan Kayes,The Good,Did Kev Howard the
magnificent didgeridoo player bring a busload of antisocial lunatics?
Let's name and shame 'em.
Make no mistake,there are knobheads in all walks of life,it is just as
bad saying that one section of society (ie MA fans)can do no wrong as it
is saying that all Football fans are hooligans.It is bigoted and
blinkered and blatantly untrue and gets on my wires.
MA are one of my favourite bands,their Christmas nights leave me
breathless.MA are the reason I started to visit The Lion Inn.They are
the reason along with Paul Crossland that I discovered the magnificence
of Four Day Hombre and The Yards and they are the reason that I have had
some of the greatest nights of my life up at Blakey.But some of their
fans are pompous prats.Which bands fans couldn't shut their gobs or go
in the bar to talk while The Yards and Four day Hombre were playing
which I think is the height of ignorance?....Thats right MA fans,groups
of the T shirted buggers blathering away while all us Hooligans with the
impertinence to like other types of music were trying to listen to our
other favourites.
Give me a break,no ones perfect for gawds sakes.
