Cheers again Paul for another top night at Blakey. And thanks to your crew for all their help (hope they weren't too traumatised by the after show capers). I thought we were remarkably well behaved......for us. As always we all had a great night and hope everyone enjoyed it as much as we did. Hi Tracy. The gig on the 21 July is at the new Pickering Events Arena. We are supporting Mostly Autumn. If it's anything like the October fest at Blakey last year it should be a rite do! Please help spread the word about this gig, I think the arena holds at least 2000 so we're gonna need some bodies there.

Just heard that the Pickering Festival will no longer be going ahead this July, the organizers ran into a load of problems and delays when applying for the licences. Shame, but hopefully it will happen next year.

To clarify situation re. proposed Pickering Festival:
various pilot events have been held at the venue prior to a full revue of the venue itself by the Licencing authority and Police. The provisions subsequently, and recently stipulated will take time to implement. These stipulations, some totally unexpected, relate to approval of the multi-purpose use of the venue itself and not to any particular event planned there. The venue owner and his health and safety consultants are now dealing with these stipulations but in the meantime a whole range of events planned for the arena are now on hold, including the propsed music festival.
