A further Brian Clough celebration raising funds towards the Cloughie statue in Albert Park, Middlesbrough

8.45 – 9.15 Shrug (Rob Shrug, editor of Boro fanzine 'Fly Me To the Moon' was gutted to have to pull his band from the Blakey gig - FA and TV inconsiderately scheduling Boro's cup match with Charlton on the same night - after the gig was organised. Shrug will be onstage at the Town Hall)
9.20 – 9.40 Bob Fischer
10.00 Alistair Griffin fronting his new band

A great gig at the Lion last Thursday in aid of the Brian Clough Memorial Fund. Excellent sets from 3 Foot Ninja, Bob Fischer and the Alistair Griffin Band and first class work from Ian (PA engineer) and Mark and Ashley (Lighting engineers). A total of £1,264.60 was raised (including £1,000 box office, £245.00 raffle, and £19.60 in Cloughie badge sales and band CD sales percentage). People travelled from all over the country for this gig - Thanks to all for helping ensure such a great atmosphere. See you at Middlesbrough Town Hall on the 30th April.
