Me,the missus & No 1 son turned up on Friday to see how you're getting on & - bugger me - I'm told you've swanned off to Barcelona for a stag week-end. Whatever happened to Blackpool ! ?
Anyway, just to say sorry we missed you, the food was ace & plenty of it & we'll be back some time in the not too distant future to try again. I might just ring beforehand mind to check & make sure you're not on a day trip to Venezuela or somewhere!
p.s. the open fire was very evocative an' all - reminded me of my old mum's back in Seaton Carew - that smell of burning coal - lovely !!
