I'm new to the Durants' writing -- I just started "The Life of Greece" a couple days ago -- but I am very eager to see "The Greatest Minds And Ideas Of All Time." I picked up "Life of Greece" to give context to my reading of Homer, which in turn I had picked up because it is the first of the Encyclopedia Britannica's Great Books. I am anxious to see how many of the EB Great Books will be on Durant's list. John, do you know whether Durant collaborated with Hutchins, Adler, et al, as they compiled their selections? Did they ever correspond?
