Question on Bushnell Qualilty

I researched the F/T forum for scopes recommendations. After deliberating for a while I ordered the Bushnell Banner 6x18x50. I was wondering what everyones experience in quality control has been with this scope. I have not mounted it yet, as I am waiting for my airgun to arrive. But one thing I noticed that bothered me was the magnification adjustment. The low range did not "line up" with the marking dot on the scope body.

In other words when turned down to 6, the ring stops at approximately 6 and 1/2 to 6 and 3/4. Is this typical "Chinese" quality and nothing to worry about. Or is it the old maybe you get a good one or maybe you get a bad one thing?

I ordered from Optics and they seem to have a fairly strict return policy. The scope cannot be mounted and then returned.

Any insight you folks could share would be great.

Great Site by the way!
