Thanks for sharing your shooting progress with the QB79 over several posts.
Much of the time many of us (including me) talk about the accuracy and performance of air rifles mainly in technical terms - we somehow ignore the shooter. Yet the person operating the rifle is probably the most important single element in the whole equation. And there's no doubt that sustained practice brings improvement in accuracy - as you are describing.
Of course some air rifles are inherently easier to shoot than others and CO2 guns such as the QB78 family are certainly more "natural" than, say, a high-powered spring gun, particularly for those moving into air rifles from a background with powder burners.
Your posts on technique remind me of the importance of such basics as trigger control and correct hold. As a less than perfect shot myself, these are lessons that I need to remember every time I use an air rifle. Please keep posting on this topic
