I might have gotten a bad one but my experience with the TruGlo 2x was the opposite of what Kevinp has found. I thought it would be a perfect fit for an IZH 46m considering the power levels and ranges that power could be used at, and it appeared to fit the various holds/positions I shoot the gun from. I soon found the parallax was so severe that it was not suitable for my applications. I removed it and gave it to a friend that wanted it to mount on his wifes 22lr rifle. My friend still speaks to me so I guess it worked for his application.
I suggest that you go to your local sporting goods store and see if they will allow you to try it in the store to see if it fits your needs before you buy.
