they're fine, but they do have parallax. every optical device does. i have one on a .22 semi auto hangdun and one on a compasseco underlever .177 pellet pistol.
both shoot well if i keep the dot in the center; both shoot poorly if i don't. they were about $29 at wally world. i doubt that spending more money will change parallax, which is a result of the laws of physics.
