Can set it for 33 good shots at 16-18 foot pounds, but cranked up to 18-23 foot pounds will only go 20 sweet spot shots. Getting it up to this speed costs a good bit more gas for little gain.
On the .177 HPA conversion, have it set at 12 foot pounds. Did a good bit of fooling around with the valve and striker weight, but will give 95-100 shots from a 13CI HPA bottle (850PSI out put). Heavy pellets get a few more shots (about 5%) than light ones, mostly due to some back pressure saving a little bit of air per shot.
Did put together a .22 79 HPA carbine, cranked that one up a little hotter (but not much..about 14 foot pounds). 13CI bottle and 850PSI out put. Short barrel takes a little more air to get to 14 foot pounds than a longer barrel would, but can live with the 75-80 shots per fill.
