Response to air pressure

My standard valve/striker/spring started to lock up (valve lock) past 1400, giving low vel. readings past that point. By 1800psi, was getting BB gun speeds until I finally fired enough air to bring the gun back down to 1400PSI.

Delrin valve, a bit more main spring tension, and it worked at the higher pressure, but the shot count was still kind of "sucky".
