took a fair bit of heat AND force to get that sucker seperated.
not sure of the force but the ram pressure to 1,000psi before I got movement.
setup on my lathe with a rod threaded for the barrel arranged to pull the barrel. A gear puller hydraulic ram to push on the sleeve and a rod into the muzzle to help hold the barrel still.
Cleaned off the goop and worked over the crown and breech leade. Used a setscrew to hold the shroud in place.
Will be shooting it today to see if I did any good
