Response to Ok new seal gets 721 in super h point. But 700 ish with rest
720 with RWS' are not a bad speed.
You are right, as your seal breaks in a little, you should see a little improvement.
I looked this rifle up, and here is what bothers me......
"22 delivers 950 fps w/lightweight, lead-free pellets, 800 fps with lead pellets "
You rarely see a velocity claim that doesn't have the "lightweight" pellets listed at around 200 fps faster than lead.
From my experience, if a .22 will shoot a 9-10 grain pellet at 900, you can expect to see ~ 700 fps with normal weight pellets, provided your force is constant.
So, if this holds true---950 fps with the lightweights would give somewhere around 750 with 14.3 grains. Couple this with the assumption that 950 fps was probably the "FASTEST" speed, and that when tested it was dieseling some.....well, you get the idea.
I can't see you being able to adjust power output TOO much by making physical adjustments, maybe getting more volume into the chamber somehow.
Just my opinion.
