I met a guy who just got a Benjamin trail XL. He got it for the 1500 fps. For most who don't have chrony and don't go on the forums. They'll be happy enough with a gun they believe shoots 1500 fps. Even if it won't hit anything smaller than a quarter. But yes it's confusing to me when I just got back into airguns. But gamo has always done the numbers game so I guess it's the way of the world now. .
