I've tried a few different things, including sticking an allen wrench into the hole, but I just can't figure out how to put pressure on the back side of the hammer. Understand that I've never actually SEEN a de-gassing tool, so I'm unclear about what I'm trying to make.
If someone could provide a close-up picture of one, then I could figure out how it works in the curious keyhole slot, and I could probably actually make one.
