It's just that I order the Crosman ultra-magnum domes pellets in tins from Pyramyd Air. I guess it's the same low-quality , except I can't find the domes at my local Wal-Mart. Now, I could order the big box of Crosman domes and get 625 pellets for $26.00, but that's not really much of a deal when I consider that I can order 750 JSB Jumbo Heavy pellets for just $1.00 more. If quality pellets are as much the issue as cost (and they are), I'd do better buying the Jumbo Heavy, and I will. Besides, PCP rifles are said to be more efficient with heavier pellets than with lighter ones. I guess buying the tins of the Ultra-mags is going the cheap route, not the inexpensive route. That's a comment on quality, not price. I'm sure the difference in the terms is apparent.
