You are right....do get tired of goofing around with these guns. Are just so obstinate.
Decreased striker weightincreased striker spring strengthwent back to the issue transfer port. Fiddled and farted with it off and on for more than a week trying to get it balanced.
Not too unexpectedly, the lighter striker NARROWERED the sweet spot. It runs well, but runs well over a narrow pressure range of 2250-1600psi. That is only 550psi (or about 37 BAR) where a heavy striker usually runs right over 50 BAR.

BAM 51 5 shots/22 yards. 14.6GR. @ 898FPS average (895-919-897) 2250-1600psi. If nothing else, should be a lesson about shooting only in the sweet spoteven if you have to refill more often, why get less than the best the gun can offer.
Am going to just stop here, with 26 foot pounds X 30 shots.
Is some debate about this on other forumsbut for a pump filler, only having to refill 550PSI is a pretty good deal. Basically, will fill to 2200, shoot 25 times, and refill back to 2200 with 40-43 pump strokes.
