another idea for more air volume. If a tube was made in a sightly larger diam.just long enough to fill the space below the factory tube from the tip of the stock to the fill end.The tube would be the diam. to duplicate the capacity of the factory tube. You than use a short hose,or tube to connect the tubes at the muzzle end.At the other end you have a off set foster fitting. You would hold this tube to the other one with 2 bands same design as the barrel bands only with larger diam. holes to accomodate the 2 tubes.Than you wouldn't have to alter the Disco.stock,or disassemble the gun at all.You could double tube it,or not with out any hardship of taking apart, and running the risk of leaks,or damaged O-rings.I think this is the sleekest, and cleanest design so far. What do you think? When you make up these tubes do you Tig weld threaded plugs in the ends? Or are they wholly machined with a solid end,and the other threaded? The reason I ask is I only have Mach. shop 101 with milling, but I have 30 yrs. of welding experience.(mostly structural)I'm always interested in learning something new.
