Response to Real lookers !

..a member with a lot more stock remodeling skills that I have. It, and the stock finish, have held up very well over the years I've owned it. The .177 50 is newer (one of the last FD airguns had) and the stock is pretty much as-issued.

These are not lite-weights, and pretty much nothing short of some drastic major replacement parts are going to turn metal-and-wood rifles into lite-weights (and I have to say, the air tube is much thicker than most rifles produced today).

Because they are never going to be run-way-model-light, may was well bolt up a decent size/weight scope and let 'em be "fat".
