A few weeks ago I posted regards a 78 barrel that was performing poorly.
Mike Melick kindly described how to fabricate and use a choking tool.
After sourcing the materials (never easy in the UK) and finally getting round to machining up the tool I'm pleased to report that re-choking the barrel has made it deadly accurate.
