Hi everyone ,
Have this B-51 I have started to work on now , its unfired , just some stock work done so far , want to shoot it before I decide if it needs internal mods or not ( which I am sure it will , hee hee hee ) .
Question is I am without a Pump , looking to purchase one and am wondering what Brand I should go with ?
Pyramid Air sudgested I buy the Axsor 3 stage . With QD adapter I am looking at
$250-ish . I will also be filling a 2009 Sam Yang .45 Caliber Rifle .
What say you !

Can you tell me who sells the Axsor rebuild kits and how much they cost?
I have one and would like to be able to rebuild it if necessary.
Thanks.

You will want to mod the 50, especialy if you are pumping to fill....

as sold, they use a lot of air, and need a fill above 3000 psi. Not hard to make them run well at 2500, but you'll have to give up some power.

I guess I must be on the right track for the Brand of pump then ? Of course eventualy I want Scuba Gear , but that's a wayz off .
The guns mostly going to be used for Hunting rabbits , so really only need one shot each trip , maybe two if I see two rabbits that day . I got my rifle in .22 because of the added knockdown power . It would be nice to get it regulated to get lots of shots at a satisfactory FPS though too if I want to sit and target shoot also at times , which I very much enjoy . I generally use Gas Guns for that though or my Springers . The PCP gun is a new thing for this shooter so just learning what I need and stuff right now . I appreciate the advice and sidgestions alot , thank you .
One shot one kill is the primary objective of this particular rifle as is my Sam Yang .45 Rifle . I realy enjoy the ease of my Gas guns for targets though , got a couple , the AR20 and the QB's . I can't see the PCP's ever being as easy unless you have a compressor or Scuba Gear though . So for awhile I think my PCP's will be stricktly Hunting machines .
Once again , thank you for your replys .

Considered the Hill Pump? Depending on where you live and the humidity level, you may want to consider the Dry-Pak option. I don't know the cost compared to the Axsor pump. Just a suggestion

I have considered it , it is the msot expensive, but I ehar its the best too , England made, hard to go wrong there . My Climate is VERY wet and Humid , not sure that matters , I had no clue that made any difference ? Can you tell me why it does ?
Thanks , the Hill pump is certainly an option for me money wise .
