At just over 1,600 rounds fired in this .22 rifle now and several rabbits later , my opinion of it is quite good . Especailly for a couple hundred plus dollars . Set-up with the 3x9x40mm AO Bam scope with the target Turrets and a better scope mount and rings than they come with too from AGD too , this is one accurate rifle now . I took a moderate amount of wood off the entire stock and 1/2" off the cheekrest hight , making it a nice slim hunter now that actually fits . I notice that Bam has started offering this fine rifle with lower Comb hight , go figure !

This thing loves RWS Meisterkugeln Pellets , loves um :~) , it does quite nice with Beeman Silver Arrows too for hunting .

I can't say it has replaced my custom RWS rifle here ,

but it has become my other go to gun when Mr. Floppy Ears is out on my back forty . The dilema of which rifle to grab off the rack is getting harder and harder though ?

The only weak link seems to be the cocking shoe..

and you can get replacements from Xisico if it does break. I have sold a ton of the rifles in both calibers and styles and have had very few (2%?) that have had problems, the ones that do seem to be real buggers though...

For the most part

November 14 2009, 10:58 AM

Mr. Mike , I think they get the higher end China rifles right , now , which is good .
2% aint bad and very compairable to any Euro guns , and maybe even a better eaverage actaully . Which is good too , we win .
I am a firm believer in Aeronautical Grade ( real deal stuff ) Moly base greases in these guns . Works for me at least :~) ..........
Once they are broke in a bit and the metal wears into itself a little , then a little Moly goes a long way to smooth these things up .
Thanks , Alan

Aero moly?

November 14 2009, 3:16 PM

What kind of aeronautical moly do you use? I have access to all kinds of aviation lubes. I have thought about trying one of the moly types in an airgun. I want to lube up a rws34 and a P1. thanks

Shell

November 14 2009, 7:25 PM

Arero-Shell brand is my current open tube , but I have been dabbling with Krytol too from Dupont . Pops is in the bussiness and sends me stuff all the time . This Krytol is the slipperiest stuff I have encountered thus far , excellent for triggers too , try some if you can get it . I liek using aeronautical grade stuff as they require the finest purity for aircraft , thats why , plus I get it all for free . Bonus .
