Bulk CO2 filling question.

I recently picked up a QB78 Deluxe setup with a Mac1 extension tube and bulk fill fittings. My question is in regards to my refilling setup. I purchased a Ninja paintball CO2 setup and am quite happy with it. It has a sliding shutoff valve just behind the Foster fitting that allows me to bleed off the pressure so I can disconnect it from the gun. It does however leave the hose pressurized. I can slide the valve and empty the hose but this seems like it wastes alot of CO2. So my question is.....is it ok to leave the hose pressurized? With this rig I could reconnect the foster fitting and slide the valve to evacuate the hose into the gun, but I am not sure if it would be safe as it would be the same as opening the CO2 bottle wide open all at once!! Am I worried about nothing here or am I better off bleeding the hose after every fill?

Thanks - Brian

I used a 2" nipple to minimize co2 waste

I can also reconnect the remote coiled hose for shooting out the remaining co2 on my 20oz bottle. Remaining 2-3oz of co2 is pita to transfer to my 88gram AS or 9oz bottle.
