for either caliber.

What is the trigger group like on these, disassembly-wise?

Can the trigger be made to work well, does it come outta the box ok ?

Thanks in advance and God bless,

Farmer

Lots of Data and Test Targets Here...

... on the Archer Airguns blog. Scroll right down the page for the largest analysis of performance data that's ever been published on these interesting air rifles.

I hope this is useful!

The trigger usually has a loooong pull but can be quite light - as you'll see from the data in the blog. If you want to disassemble the two trigger assemblies (front and rear), there's lots of E clips to remove and replace. A sear engagement screw is included in the rear trigger group, there's no other factory-facilitated adjustment.

Stephen, thanks a ton for the link. Question

October 5 2011, 11:11 PM

in all of your testing.....

Which caliber do you think this gun has the edge in?

For a hunter out to 40 yds....

With average weight pellets...7.9 in .177 or 14.3 in .22

Which seemed to have the best trajectory?

This may be a good "motorcycle" gun, to be able to store for a trip...

God bless,

Farmer

Normally I prefer .22s, but I think that .177 might be the better caliber for the QB57.

However as barrel assemblies are readily-available in both calibers and inexpensive, it's easy to change your mind on this one!
