PE Exam

Hello all. I was wondering if any engineers out there could answer some questions about the PE exam. I have already decided to get out (family issues) and I am working on my M.S. at night. In addition, I would like to take the PE exam before I get out. In MD, you need 4 years of "qualifying experience" to sit for the exam. I really don't think sitting in ECC for 2 years and surfing the internet the next 2 qualifies, but several people have suggested to try for it. I have already got some input from the state how to word the application, but I was looking for some personal experiences (either you are trying to sit for the exam and/or you know someone a head of us that already sat for the exam).
Papa, it sounded like you were going to get your license next year.(?) Anyone else thinking / trying for it?

Thanks.....Later

Also, anyone looking to buy a decommed ship, give me a call. Especially Kinger and Hulser, I have some good scoop on the MALLOW (i.e. It's a hunk of ****).
