Should I re-run old stories in my newsletter, or write new ones?

May 20 2002 at 1:52 PM

I publish a weekly newsletter that promotes my eBook on press releases called media4free.

(Details at the bottom.)

In the top half of each issue I run an original article -- a case-study of a local business that recently made it into the media using a press release.

At the bottom I run a few paragraphs from my eBook.

Today, 75 issues later, I've come to the end of my eBook.

I'll go back to the first chapter and recycle the content at the bottom of future issues.

But what should I do about the top?

(a) Write new case studies? (This isn't hard -- when you know what to look and listen for there are examples EVERYWHERE)

(b) Or recycle the old case studies, and save myself some work each Monday?

Let me know.
