David, while you have a super idea here for
your product, perhaps a little different
approach to your marketing would result in
more success - such as:
1) Instead of posting flat out ads, try posting a
short article or drywall finishing tip that helps
someone - they would then be far more likely to
click on your email in your signature than just
blasting them with an ad.
2) Focus on more relevant discussion groups. There
are bound to be tons of home improvement, household
tips, renovation discussion forums - they would be
better targets for you message.
3) Are you planning to put up a web page (simple
one pager with a information/sales letter to tell
people more about your book?)
