When my father first went into business for himself back in 1980, he trekked across the street to visit Richard, a very successful copywriter and consultant. Being a business newbie, Dad was in need of some advice.
So, Richard offered the following Rules for Doing Business:
1. Always charge twice what you're worth.
2. Never work for anyone below the boss.
3. Don't work for people you don't like.
Those rules worked for my dad, and they've worked for me. Feel free to use them in your own businesses.
