Craig...I Think Of This Stage Of My Business As PART II.

Response to About the Book...

Craig - thanks for asking this question in the forum.

You're not alone in your questioning. Because of the proliferation of marketers on the internet, there's a tendency for many beginning and even experienced entrepreneurs to wonder where the 'real' profits are in this business.

They're there...but you have to scratch the surface a bit at the start.

For my info-publishing business this is the second stage...the giving back to those who want to succeed in the exciting world of home-made mail-order information. So this period is the "Part II" of my life right now. I've jumped the problem hurdles already... now others can benefit from my experience and hard graft.

See, I've already been successful. It is no mean feat to earn up to $1,000 weekly simply from your own efforts in mail-order. You make mistakes. You despair. You spend money foolishly.

Then, like a dam breaking, it all comes right. Like the sound barrier - you exceed it once, and the money flows.

EXAMPLE: I started my first community newspaper in my garage...yes, back in the early 80's...with a primitive typesetting computer (by today's standards), and the services of a bromide shop 10 miles away that processed my copy and ad layouts. It was basic but comfortable.

For the first year of business I worked from that garage, with great community support and encouragement, but so-so financial results.

However, it wasn't until I took an office in the local mall, and started to get drop-in traffic for classified ordering, stories, and other services I offered - like a State Insurance agency - that the newspaper really took off.

That's the old way of doing business. Pour more and more work and resources into a product or service until it works. Through sheer willpower and determination.

Now, through info-publishing, it's quite different

Right back in my early 'How-To' publishing business a few years ago....from the first day, business and sales were brisk (you can read about it in detail on my site: http://www.ksilver.com ).

Sales flooded in within days.

And the secret was my ownership of a proprietary subject. The content of my small manuals were unique...produced from my own head and designed to meet a need in a mass market.

Luck? No. Planning? A bit. So what was the reason for its success?

I think it was a number of small parts of my manual system that each fitted a complex jigsaw of opportunity. The product's originality, the way it was produced, the offer, the guarantee, the convenience...all of these steps dovetailed neatly into one another to produce sales immediately in the first week.

That's why I'm so excited about this business, on and off the net.

Get the details right, and you, or anyone with a basic writing skill could duplicate my success...over $1,600.00 from one small display ad 3-4 years ago...to $1,000.00 a day, as has happened both on Saturday and yesterday.

Now, getting back to the last part of your question, my manuals on my Lotto system and financial management are about making or improving money, because that's a major desire in many people's lives.

They want to know how to make their life experiences profitable.

So, help people get what they want, point them in the right direction, and you benefit too.

I could also write about (and probably will), my own experiences: How To Start & Run A Community Or PennySaver Newspaper...Fly Into Profit-Your Own Successful Aerial Photography Business...The Secret Ingredient To Success In Your Own TakeOut Pizza Parlour...and much more.

Today, Part I of my business, the mail-order side, is very active. I still send out mail and receive a great income from my letterbox strategies. Part II - the internet - is also profitable. I'll soon be putting out a course on "How To 'Net' Profits" - about the special way I've succeeded in cyberselling in just a few months when it takes most people years...if at all.

That's Part III to come, and it'll be a winner, I know. Do you have the same opportunities to make money in this business? Yes - definitely. You just need direction and guidance from an expert to make it succeed.

And succeed it does!
