Response to How to work the search engines!

Dear Gail,
Would you help me figure out how to find the information I need? (You can later use my example when you PUBLISH your "How To" manual---as a success story, I hope.)

I'm looking for information on the "divorced" market. You know, just as there is info on the "teen" market, the "senior" market etc. I'm wondering if there is info on what divorced people spend their money on; their habits, likes, dislikes, incomes etc. I tried on my own through the internet first, but I kept getting a lot of stuff that has nothing to do with what I need. So then I went to the local library (a large one) and utilized the assistance of the reference librarians. After all, they're supposedly info "specialists." Anyway, I followed their recommendations and looked uner "sociology abstracts", "divorce? and "purchases" and other like phrases, but I am still coming up blank. If you could help me out, I'd appreciate it. If you can't, perhaps you know of someone else who can or who is willing to help out a "novice internet user." Thanks in advance.
