Question regarding PDF

Hi All,

I currently use Canvas 6, and I can export any document to PDF format. The only drawback is that I don't know how/if I can create links.

I have tried to do this since Canvas can place a URL tag onto an object or text, but it doesn't export to PDF that way.

Is it ok to use Canvas for my first book and create a non-navigation version of the book in PDF until I can sell enough to buy Acrobat?
