>>I have noticed that the latinamerican market is tough when it comes to e-books. I think that because of the weak currencies of their countries, people tend to be more careful when it comes to spending money on the net on ebooks. Anyway, my questions are:
1-Should I go ahead and dive in to this ebook business now or should I wait to see if I get more results in my survey?<<

Hi Marcia,

While I don't have any specifics on your target market, I do know that buyers will crawl over broken glass to get what they want - if it's attractive enough for them!

Your latin-american market can be tiny - just a few million literate and net-savvy people - but you can make a very comfortable living by selling them what they need.

So the quick answer is... make sure you have a desirable subject, and don't worry too much about the demographics. These are for the big boys and those large companies who have budgeted for off-line advertising, which is expensive. On the internet, operating from your kitchen table in your spare-time hours, with the right product, you have an equal chance with almost no costs.

>>2-BIG question: I don' have the technical knowledge about all these programs, scripts, etc that I see everybody talking about. SO, is it imperative that I know all these "languages" in order to download my ebook pages into my website? What do I do about this?<<

For a long time now I've worried over exactly this problem. The net is STILL too complex for us average Joes. So over the past year I've developed a "net business in a box" combined website and marketing program which makes it all 1-2-3-easy. If you've signed up in the "Free Offer" box at the head of this forum, you'll hear about it in a few short days.

Ken Silver.
