My e-book is 9MB - help!

I finally put together my first copy of the e-book. Because I am using AVI files throughout the book, even as a ZIP file it comes out to 9 MB.

It is about 30 minutes of download. What can I do to decrease the size? The book is in PDF, and AVI files have been inserted as movie files.

Will customers really want to wait that long??
