      >Question: I understand that using PageMaker with Acrobat Distiller is the industries top choice for not only page layout but for internet publishing, but, all I want to know is, "How is using PageMaker with Acrobat Distiller advantageous over using those other ebook creation software tools that I can automatically use to create my ebooks?"....

For me, using Acrobat is an absolute no brainer. For example, here's how I created a PDF version of the sales letter for my upcoming seminar.

      1. Using Word 97, I created the sales letter pages as HTML files.

      2. Once I had the HTML files working the way I wanted, I created a standard Word 97 document and pasted the HTML text into the Word document.

      3. After tweaking the Word document to better fit that format, I simply printed the PDF file by selecting that option from the print list in Word.

      4. Lastly, I went into Adobe Exchange and created the links to the bio pages and order form.

The longest time consumer was getting the format set the way I wanted but other than that, it was absolutely great.

You can see the PDF file I created by visiting <http://www.netguerrilla.org/seminar/bootcamp_a1.htm?ks012801>;. Scroll down to the bottom for the link to the PDF file. You can then download it easily.
