Free and Paid Autoresponders

November 28 2002 at 1:35 PM
Leo Lazaridis

Hello everyone,

I want to use a free autoresponder (and then move to a paid one if possible)with multiple follow-ups. What particular ones do you recommend?(I have seen a few that cost a recurring monthly fee, quite expensive IMHO). I was also wondering whether you know of any cheap web hosts that provide advanced multiple follow-up autoresponders.

Cheers,

Leo.

A few suggestions

If you want a simple nonsequential autoresponder, you can probably find one for free. My Web hosting company, Third Sphere, provides them free with my basic hosting service. I am using GetResponse.com and ProAutoresponder.com. Both are very sophisticated sequential systems. (You can send more than one message and pre-program the intervals between messages.) GetResponse.com charges (if I recall correctly) $19.95 for one autoresponder. ProAutoresponder.com charges $17.95 for unlimited autoresponders. I highly recommend the latter.

Thank you for posting all those links. I tried this one and liked it the best. It's free and I can do a whole e-course using it.

If you're the do-it-yourself type, why not install autoresponder software on your server? That's what I'm planning to do, and here's what I intend to use:

Master E-responder from Willmaster.com

Hope this helps,
