MY ADOBE ACROBAT PAGES RUN THE WRONG WAY!

January 25 2000 at 12:25 AM

Dear all,

Can anyone help?
I saved a document in MS Word with pages running in logical sequence ie.1,2,3 etc.

On conversion to Acrobat - the opposite was true. 3,2,1 etc

The manual includes a box to check for logical page order, this does not seem to solve the problem.
Any bright ideas?

Nick Dunning.

Try this ...

You probably need to go into the print control under Options and be sure that the Reverse Print Order is not checked.

Don't feel bad -- I learned the hard way too.

I checked out the print order facility both on my pdf file and on the word document I translated from - still no joy. I have looked everywhere. Any more suggestions -

How did you convert from Word to Acrobat? Did you go into the File menu and choose "Create Adobe PDF"? When you do this, the document "prints" using the Adobe File Writer (or a similar name) as if it was your regular printer. This is why I suggested that you make sure the reverse printing was not checked.

What version of MS Word are you using? What version of Adobe Acrobat?
