Hi all... Cliff Latham here from hot Texas. I have a 346 page eBook that became cumbersome as it grew, so upon the advice of Adobe techs, I broke it down into individual chapters (should've read Ken's book first, eh?)
Anyway, before it was broken into chapters, I had installed hypertext links throughout... plenty of 'em! Now when the book is rebuilt, it has lost all the links.
Can anyone provide some insight into correcting this as rebuilding all the links will take 6-7 hours. In addition, I want to build the book, keep working on individual chapters and rebuild and rebuild every month or so. I simply can't afford to rebuild all the links everytime. Help!
Also, I have Pagemaker and distiller. I simply will not export certain Microsoft Word tables into Reader. Tables are there, but no text within the boxes. Stumped the Adobe techies with this one too. Anyone have any insight into these quandries???
