How can I place a newsletter subscription request on my website pages that will send the subscriber's name and email address to an autoresponder with a click of a button.

Eventually I will engage someone to handle the subscription lists for me - but at this point the number of subscribers would be small and I am not sure a list manager would be interested.

Is there a simple way to do this without buying expensive software?

It's a form processing script, VERY easy to install and will send an autoresponse after the form is submitted. It will also send you a copy of the form results so you can build your database.
