Listed below are the top potential returning wrestlers in each weight class for the Berkshire League for 2007-2008. This list is NOT a prediction of the 2007-2008 Berkshire tournament or what weight classes each wrestler will compete at for the 07-08 season. It is mathematical evaluation of each wrestler and their final placing in that evaluation. All wrestlers listed on the 2006-2007 divisional seeding reports were evaluated. This would include members of the projected graduating classes of 2008, 2009 and 2010 that were assigned seeding points prior to the 06-07 divisionals (LL, L, M, S tournaments) No incoming freshmen (class of 2011) were evaluated and all outgoing seniors (class of 2007) were removed. Some wrestlers that were not listed on those reports that I had enough data on were also evaluated. I apologize for any misspelled names and school affilations.

Terryville doesn't have very many decent wrestlers.....they have a few but many are inexperiences. Housatonic will definately take Terryville..without a doubt

in my opinion, cronan will walk through 189 again, umm platt is 71 now maybe going 60? so brazee or platt at 60 will win. seeing as last year platt bumped up and pinned OWTs kidin the first or second period. kid from tvill will take 52. gelada will take 45. and not sure past that those are the for sures. i havent been able to see these people wrestle yet this year do to college and work but hopefully ill be able to put in some better imput after watching some matches.

However, I do think in the league tounament Gilbert can beat Nonnewaug if they have their head in it. Its hurts them that thier 285 is out for the rest of the season though. We will see who is ready to be the winner and who is ready to accept 2nd place. In my book anything after 1st place is 2nd place.

Marshall torn his ligaments on both side of his knee and hamstring when he wrestled in the finals against St. Bernard last weekend. I guess when 600 pounds comes down on you worng there is bound to be some damage. His knee completely dislocated.
