Sounds like some hardcore wrestling went down. A box score would be great if anyone has it.

MAU up 31-25 with two matches to go 145 and 152. Randall scheduled for 145 against Goncalves, but Legacy chooses to forfeit and send Randall against Schaefer. All tied now, 31-31. Then Tucker handles Randall, eventually pinning him. Place was going wild. Great way to spend an evening.

Very good match...many exciting matches, close pins only to have a late escape. Anyone have info on the thought process for the forfeit? Can you not throw someone in to just try not to get pinned...give up 4 or 5 instead of the 6? MAU had a lot of JV wrestlers there.

After the match, Caoch Leagacy's wife told us that their good 152 hurt his shoulder at the end of the football season. The 152 they have now has only been wrestling for two years, and they figured it wasn't a good idea to send him out against Schaeffer.

it makesa sense if legacy thought 145 was a better wrestlers then 152..that way they if randall loses even a close bout to 145 then the 152 would have definetly be beat. in legacys mind he felt even if he gives 6 at 145 and 3 at 152 they win. basically they needed one guy to win and legacys felt that match up between randall and scheaffer was the best match up for him

Danbury match

Looking at it from a fans point of view, Danbury got everything they needed out of their wrestlers, and MAU did not. McVay should have most likely pinned, their looked lost, and MAU's 135, what was he thinking? He looked like he was content to lose 3-0. He looked stronger, faster and more experienced. Judging by reactions on the MAU bench they were not real happy with him, although being from CT., I must admit, that the kid was robbed of a 2 point takedown by Carmine. Anyhow give credit to both teams for entertaining us all, like many of the Danbury-Mt.Anthony matches if you wrestled it, there may be a different outcome each time.
