amity and stamford didnt make the top ten in the recent poll, but finished 2nd and 3rd in the danbury tournament ahead of state ranked Hand(9th), Southington(7th) and New Milford(3rd)...no big deal, the seasons still early. just figured id throw that out there to mix things up.

Everyone pretty much knows early season tournament results can be a bit deceiving. I was told Hand did not have its two best kids wrestling. Danbury had Goncalves and Shaeffer in finals - that means one did not score for the varsity total.
