MIT is only up there because they had one heavyweight that placed high, besides that they dont even have a full line-up, only about 6 kids on the whole team

The rakings above are based on the DIII National Championships. It's like the state opens, you can be a pretty good dual meet team, but if you don't have anyone who qualifies or places at the national tournament, you can't finish in the top 20 nationally. Case in point is MIT. They were 0-22 in duals, but they have an excellent heavyweight who qualified for nationals and placed.
During the dual meet season, Johnson and Wales, Williams, and Rhode Island College were ranked in the top 25. The NEWA should have several nationally ranked teams next year.
