I heard from a reliable source that Kenny Anderson from Billerica was ineligible at the time of New Englands and has lost his first place finish at 119 lbs.

I have also heard this. The source of my information was notified by the New England Council. I was told that Anderson would have to forfeit his New England title. I was not told and did not ask for the reason of his forfeiture. I have not been able to confirm this information and there is no mention of it on the New England Council website that I could find.

This off the results for the New England Tournament:
119 PLACEWINNERS
1 - Charlie Costanzo Danbury
2 - Jacob Shortt Mt Anthony
3 - Chris Smith Deering
4 - Franschesco Ortiz Gr Lawrence
5 - Alex Smith Timberlane
I guess Costanzo is a NE Champ...

That sucks... Billerica was the deserving champ and for whatever reason, it was taken from him. I'm not saying that it is all justified or isnt, but it does blow pretty badly. Congrats to Costanzo for making it to the finals in the first place, but I would imagine he is not satisfied with this decisioning. Being given an award you didn't earn never feels quite right. Good luck with winning New Englands next year though, Costanzo
