Weigh Ins:Thursday, June 11th for all divisions, 7:00 – 9:00 pm at Monroe Township Recreation Center, Saturday June 13th, 7:00 – 8:00 am for Tot/Bantam/Midget/Junior;
10:00 – 11:00 am for Intermediate/High School

Start Times:Tots/Bantams/Midgets/Juniors, 9:00am Intermediates/High School, 12:00pm
Bout Length:Tot/ Bantam/Midget/Junior, 1-1-1 Intermediates/High School, 1-1.5-1.5

Entry Fee:$20.00 Pre-registered, ALL ENTRIES MUST BE RECIEVED BY Thursday, June 11, 2008.
NO WALK-INS, All wrestlers will wrestle at least 2 matches.
Rules: Scholastic Rules, Head Gear and Singlet required. May not enter two divisions. Director reserves the right to combine weight classes. Less than 4 in a weight class will be combined. Seeding based on entry form record. Proof of age must be available upon request. Four mats will be used for entire tournament.

Admission: $3 Adults $2 Children under 12
Awards: First, Second, and Third place finishers get medals.
Refreshments:Available all day. Breakfast food available after weigh-ins.

How Tournament Works:

The Tournament will be formatted to guarantee three duals for each team. Teams from the same area will be separated out so they will get the full benefit of wrestling good clubs from different areas.

Requirements:

1. $ 300.00 Entry Fee per team
• Includes
a. Wrestlers = up to 20
b. 3 coaching passes
c. 1 Table worker pass
d. Insurance

2. Send non refundable deposit of $200 by May 1st 2009 to:

3. Teams may combine with 2 high schools

4. NO TEAM JUMPING

5. Each team should consist of
o 14 Wrestlers
o 1 Head Coach
o 2 Assistant Coaches
o 1 Table Worker

6. Each team will be responsible to provide one timer or one scorer for each of their team’s dual meets.

Rules:
1. Rules will be according to the National High School Rulebook.
2. Headgear and singlet are mandatory
3. All High School bouts will be: 1 ½ - 1 ½ - 1 ½
4. High School Weights plus 2lbs (103 = 105)

1st annual K-8 Summer Duals Camp,(Hornet Summer Duals).
The camp run from June 24th-26th from 6-9pm.
The cost is $50 per wrestler weigh-in 1 time for the camp on Wed. 24th & wrestle 2 duals,wrestle 2 duals Thurs. and a open tournament on Fri. 26th.

Weigh-in: 7:00am -8:30am. Wrestling starts at 9:40

Divisions: A= Entering 5th or 6th Grade
B= Entering 7th or 8th Grade
C= High School (9th grade ¡V 12th grade) Must be entering 9th-12th.
No recently graduated high school seniors

Format: Double elimination. Weight classes will be decided after weigh-ins.
If practical there will be 8 wrestlers per weight class; must reach Semis to Medal.
Modified wrestlebacks for quarterfinal losers.
Wrestlers will be seeded on previous season records and honors.

Rules: NJSIAA rules. Headgear and wrestling shoes required.

Bout Length: 1-1.5-1.5, standard overtime periods.

Directions: COMING FROM THE WEST LIE to exit 39N (Glen Cove Road) to the end at the Glen Cove Fire Dept. Turn right onto Brewster Street. Road quickly changes names to Forest Avenue, go just over 2 miles to Birch Hill Road in Locust Valley. Landmark - at the intersection there will be a Marquis Liquors on the right. Turn left onto Birch Hill Road. At the yellow blinking light bear left. Go one block to the traffic light. Turn right onto Horse Hollow Road (which is also the end of the road). The High School will be 1/4 of a mile down on the left. Use second driveway.

COMING FROM THE EAST LIE to exit 41N, (Route 106) north towards Oyster Bay. Turn left at
the Hess gas station on Lexington Avenue; at end of road turn left onto Main Street. Pass 2 lights and bear right onto Shore Road. At first light, turn left onto Cleft Road. Cross-over water, road changes names to Feeks Lane. At the end turn right onto Bayville Road. At next traffic light (at the end of the road) turn left onto Horse Hollow Road. The High School will be about a mile down on the right.

Elite Wrestling Club is hosting a primer for the Bay State Games.
This tournament will take place on Saturday June 20th, 2009.
We will offer three (3) divisions: Middle School 6-8, High School 9-11 & Open 12 & up.
Medals will be awarded to the top three (3) place winners at each weight class.
Middle & Opens will be grouped weights. High School will be official weight classes.
Clubs are encouraged to attend! This is an individual tourney but club points will be scored and a trophy awarded to the top scoring team. The point system will be as follows: 1/2 point for every match wrestled and 2 points for every match won. So, as you can see the more wrestlers your club has the more points you will score.

We are just going to do walk in's. Hopfully it will be a good turn out. Anyone who has been to a Durfee tourney in the past knows we throw a great event. As far as our gym, the floor is resurfaced and we are second to none in size. Hope to see everyone there.

The fee is $25. and No U.S.A. card is required. Registrations / Weigh-ins will be 7:30-9 am

I also acknowledge that my child is covered by a major medical insurance plan; such coverage is a mandatory requirement for participation.

COBRA DUALS

When: Saturday June 27th

Where: Cobra Wrestling Academy-----30 Patrick Lane Depew, NY 14043
Cost: $300.00 per team
Weigh-ins: 8:00-9:00
Starts: 9:30
Weights: 100, 105, 112, 120, 130, 135, 140, 150, 160, 175, 190, 220
Each team will get 4-6 matches depending on the number of teams participating.
Food and beverages will be sold at the tournament.
A portion of the proceeds will be going to section 6 Cobra members that are going to Fargo, ND for the nationals.

Spots are filling fast so if your intersted contact me as soon as possible.

Registration at door only
Registration / Weigh-Ins 7:00-8:00am

Start - 9:00am(approx)

Youth(K-5) / MS / HS / Open Divisions

All Matches 1-1-1

Awards: (Medals to top 4 / Ribbons to all competitors in K-5)

Cost $15 per wrestler
(If 5 or more enter from the same team, it will be $12 per wrestler)
Additional division: Add $5 per wrestler,
limited to one for safety reasons at discretion of tourney director

Admission for Spectators: $3 Adults $1 (Under 12)
