I agree with the national ranking of 14th and the fact that he is achieving some amazing feats by beating Ken Altarac (Previously ranked #1 in nation & winner of 2 strait national titles)and taking second at Eastern States. But we can't overlook Brian Nicoll who currently #10 in the nation, defending NE Champ and I believe like 4-0 vs Humphrey including the finals of Eastern States. I'm still routing for BC's Tim Chambers but either way I'll be supporting Swift and the rest of the team CT. Way to go Humphrey! Best of luck!

saywhat...funny how two people can see the same thing completely different. If you were at MAU and were talking about the Swift takedown, I was there also. No doubt in my mind...the refs fingers were in the air before the buzzer sounded. Swift was around to the rear and in control of the hips before the refs fingers went up. Now..what do we do about this? Two different interpretations of the same incident. I guess we should run out on the mat...grab the ref...take him to the scorers table where the hometown timekeeper will make the decision. The facts are the facts...Legacy influenced that call after it was made on the mat.

No disrespect to Swift.... he is a great wrestler but the only person robbed is Ethan Furlon who wasn't officialy ranked even though he is 3-0 against Swift career. Ethan has not been beaten this year 34-0 (31 pins). This includes a Heart of Dixie championship where he beat schools like Brandon FL and Vestavia AL. As for the MAU match..... too close to call! I will say that I thought time had expired (sometimes we see what we want see... all of us). I'm so tired of the suggestions that MAU influences matches with thier hometown refs ect.... give me a break.
Furlon will win New Englands

I was at the Danbury/MAU match right next to the scorers table. The takedown was awarded then taken away when Legacy brought the referee to the scorers table. Shook argued his case about the time. The assistant referee confirmed that there was indeed 2 seconds left on the clock when the head referee awarded the takedown. The head referee was brought back to the scorers table and the assistant told the head referee. However instead of making the right call, he said no I'm not changing the call now (we hear what we want to hear also...). What was the point of even having an assistant referee there for that match just to make it look good?
