I went to the Eagle Classic yesterday and saw all but one of Tyler Keane's matches at 103. This kid is an athlete, a competitor, and will be ridiculously good in the coming years if he keeps it up; he's definitely got my vote for outstanding freshman from what I've seen so far.

I agree with the poster above about considering weight before categorizing the "best" freshman wrestler. I think a better question would be who are the best wrestlers for each size. Lightweights, middleweights and heavyweights. Lightweights generally wrestle quicker wrestlers, middle weights wrestle more athletic wrestlers and the big boys that are freshman are generally wrrestling fully grown men. It really is, to me, three different things.

Brandon I agree pound for pound Dolby 125 is the real deal...walsh is very technical and strong well trained. 103 from south windsor is awsome...as for who was posting the record for wingard from housatonic not necassary...he looks to be ok but sury hasn't been thru Like for example the ECC grind..let his wrestling talk league tourney and if good enough have a chance at opens . there is a great sophmore and freshman class this year. See who places at tourneys goes along way.
