Bad Karma Team Duals Oct 11th Greenville PA

No score for this post
June 5 2009, 3:11 PM

Bad Karma will again be holding it's 3rd annual team duals Sunday October 11th at Thiel College in Greenville PA. -This is the highschool duals and not to be confused with the elementary duals being held july 11th.
This is 2 weeks before SUPER 32 in Greensboro North Carolina and also great event to gear up for the traditional wrestling season starting in November.

This will be held on a SUNDAY...helps with any doing cross country and football and also avoid any homecoming dances that might be the same weekend.

Pool format -team vs team

Highschool weights with addition of 95lb weight class -3 lb allowance for all

Periods all -1 1/2

Special forfeit rule -due to trouble finding particularly the 171 lb class and above if you DO NOT WEIGH in a wrestler at a particular wt. class it is only 2 team pts for the opposing team rather than the traditional 6 team points. The pupose is two fold -1 let the wrestlers on the mats decide the actual outcome and 2- this permits some teams to still consider attending the duals if they are short 2 or 3 weight classes and be competitive without starting 18 points in the hole.

Cost -$400 per team

each team will get 5 matches.

last years teams were: Bad KarmaRagin Raisins -2 teamsRizz's Gym (Easton Area and was in finals)All American ( last years winner)Ohio Samson'sOhio LightningRam RodSuplex City (Ohio)Tyrone area

-most have again indicated interest for this year again including SEPA, and Renegade force

Contact Mark Steen with indications of interest and/or questions marksteen@roadrunner.com or 724-977-4796
