Consider this:

Bowman lights out; loses to Vallerio and Koch
Battista lights out; overtime win verses Ritchie; close match with Norman
Bias lights out ; Nice win over Slaughter on Wednesday
Engels lights out; Nice win over Norman; Bumps from Ritchie 1st match of the year
Norman lights out; Nice win over Ritchie; lose to Engels and Battista
Ritchie lights out; Early season overtime lose to Battista and close match with Norman Pins the rest of the season
Slaughter lights out; pinned late by Bias only lose.
Kappel lights out; i think he only has one loss

Now throw in Murillo; Fatigate; Sneed; Lamberton; Lynch; Hines; Haynes; and Iadanza.

This is by far the toughtest weight class going into the opens good luck guys and get some rest

Please clear this up for me. Are you suggesting that Ingalls chose to bump away from Ritchie?

If not, I apologize for mis-characterizing your statement

If you are suggesting it was a wrestler's decision, you are wrong. Bumping is a coaching decision. The wrestler rarely has any input at all.

The point was that match didn't happen and would have been an interesting match; instead we got ritchie verses a jv wrestler and engels verses a jv wrestler. I don't think either match got out of the 1st period. Sometimes all this bumping away takes something away from the competitivness of the sport.
