this is why danburys awesome and what seperates them from the rest of state...they cut f'ing weight...they always do it...drop guys down when no one saw it coming....i mean who woulda thought skinny ass damici could drop another 6 lbs....but danbury kids are tough...they always are, they know their role an do their jobs(this is why shook is a great coach) no pusss-eh over there....i knew shook had some trick up his sleeve...good move too, because by the looks of it, if bryant lost it would have come down to the last match, possibly being dimici if he didnt make him drop, but being he did, they would have won the last two like they did.



with that being said warde never stood a shot...the only reason they did is because danbury is a little down this year...i've seen much much beter teams think they could challenge danbury and still not come close...its always something with them...but stuff always goes their way too..they get the big pins, or upsets, when the opposing team had to just wrestle smart...its like the have a gaurdian angel or seomthing....but anyway...good stuff...fiacs will be interesting...

I have to admit I was sweating this one out today..DHS is not as solid up and down the line up ...but they came up big...I need there big guns to work on pins!!!! My goal as a wrestler was to destroy and pin....pin pin pin

yeah awesome job danbury and great atmosphere. i haven't seen a gym that packed for wrestling since well that big southington match a few years back when southington was suppose to end the streak as well. LETS GO HATTERS

3periods was pretty close... Just missed on 140, 103 and 112. Don't think anyone saw the switch at 119 & 125 between Damici and Costanzo coming...

Took a long ride to see the match on Monday night and it was well worth it. Danbury wrestlers came to win. You could just see their confidence on and off the mat. Congratulations Hatters.
